WEN June Volunteer Event: HAFA Farm

Join WEN MN for a summer volunteering event with the Hmong American Farmers Association (HAFA)!

We will be given a quick run-down and history behind HAFA, then get to volunteering. Volunteer tasks will most likely include management and care of the HAFA Farm, such as cleaning the high tunnels, trimming bushweed, weeding, re-painting HAFA Red sheds, etc. Come ready for a little hands-on work! Please dress for the outdoors and bring work gloves and a water bottle.

WEN will provide a light dinner before we begin the farm work, and there will also be an opportunity for networking over drinks nearby after we’re done volunteering.
